As we journey through life, there are seasons when we feel the call to know ourselves better, seeking what is sacred.
Join a community of people seeking new depth, side by side, honoring each person’s different way of naming and engaging the sacred.
The Formation Project is based on a one-year, online program incubated out of Harvard Divinity School and On Being, and
co-facilitated by Rev. Tammy Monroe.
We are adapting the project for in-person groups gathering in January 2025 in Bay City at Unity Spiritual Center.
This program is offered on a LOVE DONATION basis.
Sundays at 9:00am - 10:00am
in person at Unity
In this Zoom class, we read from scripture and mystics from all of the world’s great religions and have open discussion about what we’ve read.
We are nearing the completion of The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna and have ordered the new books for our next reading. We will be reading and discussing Prayers of the Cosmos; Reflections on the Original meaning of Jesus’s Words, by Neil Douglass-Klotz. This book translates The Lord’s Prayer and the Beatitudes from the original Aramaic.
If you’d like to join us over Zoom, call Maya at 989.988.1042 to request a weekly email invitation with the Zoom meeting links.

The Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education uses gentle movement and directed attention to help people learn new and more effective ways of living the life they want. You can increase your ease and range of motion, improve your flexibility and coordination, and rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement. Since how you move is how you move through life, these improvements will often enhance your thinking, emotional regulation, and problem-solving capabilities.
The Feldenkrais Method is based on principles of physics, biomechanics, and an empirical understanding of learning and human development. Moshe Feldenkrais said, “We move according to our perceived self-image.” By expanding your perception and increasing awareness, you will become more aware of your habits and tensions and develop new ways of moving. By increasing sensitivity, the Feldenkrais Method assists you to live your life more fully, efficiently, and comfortably.

A Course In Miracles (ACIM, or "the Course") is a unique, self-study spiritual thought system. Its goal is to awaken us to the truth of our oneness with God and Love.
It teaches that the way to universal love and peace, and the remembrance of God, is by undoing the illusion of sin and guilt through a process of forgiveness. The Course focuses in particular on the healing of relationships, transforming them from vehicles for specialness to “holy relationships.”
Come join our discussion group of A Course in Miracles on Wednesday mornings at 10:30am. Passages will be read and discussed, and then most importantly we will share how we can apply it to our daily lives, and support one another in the process. A love offering is gratefully accepted.

The Bay Area Community of Mindful Living (BACML) hosts a mindfulness meditation each Wednesday at 7pm in our Activities Room. Based on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, mindfulness is the practice of awakening our attention from past or future to the present moment, and is the pathway to develop peace in our selves and the world. Mindfulness practice will usually last 60-90 minutes, with a sitting meditation, Dharma talk, discussion, and loving-kindness meditation.
All are welcome and a love offering is gratefully appreciated.Brian McLuckie is the founder of BACML and primary facilitator for this group. McLuckie says "We are all beginners when it comes to experiencing our existence as it is. I look forward to seeing you."
